Job Description: Provides professional, highly technical work, in planning, developing, designing, budgeting, managing, inspecting, and executing various projects within the DPW. Projects could involve any aspect of DPW functions, including horizontal (water, sewer, roads, recreational areas, etc.), vertical (buildings and structures), marine infrastructure, and solid waste management. As a primary technical resource for the engineering staff, the Lead Project Engineer will be required to oversee and mentor junior engineering staff members, and be responsible for technical Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) of DPW designs (whether designed by staff or consultants). What you'll do: Assist project managers with the preparation of engineering studies, design plans and specifications.
