Job Type Full-time Description The Automation Controls Engineer is responsible for the development of automated crane control systems from inception to completion. This position requires technical proficiency in many industrial controls platforms; as well as the ability to directly interact with the customer in design reviews, project updates, runoffs, and installations. Responsibilities: Electrical design of complete automation systems using AutoCAD Electrical software. Designs include power distribution, safety circuit, I/O controls, communications, and panel layout drawings. Calculating panel SCCR, power rating, and FLA for panel rating. Direct electrical assembly during equipment build. From-scratch, start-to-finish PLC, SCADA, HMI, and VFD programming for automated cranes Configure, debug, and test equipment on shop floor in preparation of customer reviews.
