POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Controls engineer who, with guidance from the VP Engineering and Senior Electrical Engineering staff, designs control systems, develops panel layouts and wiring schematics, PLC, PC and/or HMI programs, power diagrams and calculations. SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES Successfully plans and completes assigned projects - technically sound and within quoted costs. Provides complete and accurate quotes and proposals. Ensures coordinated efforts between Sales Engineers, Project Engineers, and other members of the Engineering department, suppliers and outside subcontractors to achieve or exceed anticipated results. Exhibits electrical aptitude and provides innovative approaches to problem solving. Communicates clearly with customers and develops and supports a "team" environment.
