The Materials Engineer works in conjunction with the Engineering Manager or Sr. level Engineer. The Materials Engineer is responsible for maintaining existing material designs and may work on the development, validation, release and launch of new materials, working in a cross-functional team environment. Responsibilities also include: continuous improvement of current production products/processes, assistance with manufacturing process improvement, customer concerns, warranty analysis, and supplier development.
