JOB SUMMARY The Mechanical Engineer's primary function is to provide complete engineering packages required to manufacture and assemble automated machinery, die sets and related press equipment. Accuracy, flexibility, and efficiency are extremely important. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following: The individual must possess strong communication skills, efficient work habits and be self-motivated to succeed in an environment where engineering cost and schedules must be minimized for the company to be successful. Design of automated machinery and/or tooling. Produce complete assembly and detail drawings. Review/Check engineering work for completeness and accuracy. Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers. Maintain project related documents, records, and files.
