Purpose: Drive new injection mold tooling from the concept to completion & support existing production tooling. This individual will be responsible for tools built internally and externally, performing DFM activities, overseeing tool design acceptance, maintaining schedules and problem solving through the life of the tool. Primary Responsibilities: Sustain production tooling, driving tooling repairs and improvements. Aids in developing quotes for new tooling, revisions, and repairs. Responsible for storing CAD files, customer prints, and related documents. Drive new tooling through the entire development phase. Perform Design & DFM activities and engage with customers to work through these issues. Modify CAD files and communicate DFM issues using SharePoint, Web Meetings and PowerPoint's.
