OBJECTIVE: The Manufacturing Engineer is a "hands on" role. This position serves as the key technical resource for the manufacturing operation, focusing on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for equipment issues. This position is also the Engineering representative in the NPI process ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze, implement, and train layout of equipment, workflow, production methods, and workforce utilization and implement processes and procedures to maximize efficiency. Work autonomously to re-design, repair, or replace in-process production program equipment, production control hardware, and tooling. Scope: The Mechanical Engineer will serve primarily as the engineer focusing on FEA for new product development projects. The Engineer will provide high-level computational analysis support and critical review of designs at the project leader's or design engineer's request across the business functions. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to support new product development initiatives, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements. Provide high-level computational analysis support to project leaders, design engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout all stages of design.
