Position Summary: The Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving smoker products and related components from concept through production. This role works closely with manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and marketing teams to ensure products are functional, manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with brand standards. The Design Engineer supports both new product development and continuous improvement initiatives in a high-mix manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Product Design & Development • Design smoker assemblies, components, and accessories using 3D CAD software • Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs) • Support new product introductions (NPI) from concept, prototyping, and testing through production launch • Incorporate thermal performance, airflow, durability, and safety considerations into designs Manufacturing Support • Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams...
