The Mechanical Engineering program at Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Design and Manufacturing, with an expected start date of August 2026. Applicants from other areas in mechanical engineering will also be considered, but preference will be given to those in design and manufacturing. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, develop a nationally recognized, externally funded research program, and contribute to the institution and profession through service. A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required for consideration.
