Job Type Full-time Description Job Summary: The Laser Engineer is responsible for developing and manufacturing new products, scale-up of development to production, as well as optimizing existing production products on CNC laser machines. The Laser Engineer will also fabricate sheet metal parts according to prints, operate laser, and help in other areas as needed. Close collaboration with production, engineering, and quality staff is critical for meeting on-time delivery goals and producing conforming parts. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Uses AutoCAD and SolidWorks to design or modify parts. Updates, modifies, and continuously improves existing laser processing systems. Eliminates quality errors from lasers. Works within the effective work structure in the laser processing area. Provides customer interface for assigned programs. Provides Program Engineering support.
