THE ROLE The purpose of this role is to support the engineering department for 2-3 month rotation through all departments, spending 2-3 weeks (or longer) in various aspects of the business. This role will be a summer internship over 1 summer. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Safety, Health, Environment and Community • Promote and demonstrate safe behavior at all times, comply with the site's standards and procedures in SHEC • Demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed SHEC goals in support of the department, site and company standards • Demonstrates leadership in SHEC through personal behaviors and conversations, and report all SHEC incidents and participate in SHEC initiatives • Take responsibility for the safety of all personnel, including yourself, at Nyrstar Tennessee Mines • Develops plans and schedules in consideration of Statutory requirements Mine Engineering • Perform Auxiliary vent Studies • Perform primary vent studies • Infrastructure mapping - discharge, primary...
