JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Public Work Director and/or the County Engineer, this position is responsible for assisting with professional and technical planning and design in conjunction with the Road & Bridge Department and Planning Department functions. This position will also assist in the development and administration of various infrastructure asset management programs within the Road and Bridge Department's area of responsibility. PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES: Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform plans reviews and make recommendations on subdivisions, planning issues, and commercial buildings as requested concerning development issues such as lot layout, roads, sidewalks, parking lots, drainage, water and sewer. Monitor and report findings on the construction of subdivisions and developments to ensure compliance with established specifications and requirements.
