Job Type Full-time Description The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and development of production and processing equipment while striving to ensure work is performed to company and customer standards with considerations to business strategy, costs, and timing. Responsibilities Provide robust mechanical design of equipment and components using SolidWorks Prepare detailed drawings and bill of materials for the fabrication and assembly of equipment Prepare detailed floor layouts and facilities requirements Provide FEA analysis of assemblies and sub-components Provide analysis of automation components including drive systems Develop enterprise business systems strategies (ERP, PDM, etc.) Interface with manufacturing to support product assembly, testing, troubleshooting, installation and operations Interface with project management and/or lead projects to ensure projects meet schedule and delivery requirements Prepare and participate in internal...
