Fire Training Structure (FTS) is looking for an entry level engineering position at a small business which fabricates firefighter training buildings and associated props using shipping containers. FTS designs and fabricates industrial control panels. Tasks vary quite a bit and span several different disciplines. The ability to learn quickly and the willingness and the ability to complete a wide variety of tasks is the key qualifying attribute. FTS regularly creates and submits structural and electrical drawings to building departments across the USA. Responsibilities: Writing/editing operations and maintenance manuals. Creating bills for materials and working with the purchasing department to ensure correct materials are ordered and received. Quality control inspections/reports. Mechanical and electrical testing and troubleshooting related tasks. Industry standards compliance tasks. Creating shop drawings. Performing technical research. Drafting technical reports....
