The candidate will be needed to create electrical drawing packages for advanced flight training simulators including human centrifuges that train fighter pilots up to 15 Gs. Simulators include servo motors and drives, PC data acquisition for analog and digital I-O, operator control panels, transformers and various power supplies, electrical slip rings, and audio and video equipment. Position includes coordinating with production personnel during product integration to develop most cost effective design. This role supports the product design, manufacturing process validation and continuous improvement initiatives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Support the mechanical engineering department using Inventor, including detailing and light to intermediate level design work, and ANSYS FEA.
