Plastics Engineer Job Summary Responsibilities include part design and development, materials selection and quotation of Plastic parts. As well as any injection molding tooling associated with its manufacture. Establishes manufacturing control and quality plans. Needs to be able to interact professionally with customers at a high level. Primary Responsibilities: Design plastics or injection-mold fabrication processes. Create and improve injection-mold machinery processes. Research and develop new manufacturing processes. Analyze manufacturing data and suggest improvements. Analyze production capabilities of manufacturing machinery lines. Ensure quality output of molded components. Develop and design engineered plastic parts, insert molding of parts and assemblies.
