About the role: The Preconstruction Engineer provides support to the preconstruction lead ultimately responsible for certain aspects of the preconstruction/estimating effort of each assigned project. Essential Functions: Provide support for assigned projects inclusive of preparing estimates, quantity takeoffs, clarifications, and other project related tasks. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors. Assist with RFP and RFQ response processes. Solicit pricing proposals from subcontractors and vendors. Assist the Preconstruction lead for design build/assist projects including estimating of design milestones, value engineering, constructability, schedule review, managing design/build subcontractors, maintaining and identifying long lead items Assist in preparing estimates for all stages of design from conceptual through final construction documents (design/build, guaranteed maximum price and hard bid diversity) with input, assistance and review...
