Job Description The individual will prepare design data for electrical/electromechanical aircraft parts using reverse engineering practices and coordinate with certification and material engineers along with FAA Designated Engineering Representatives. They ensure that design features are consistent with functional performance and safety requirements for the aircraft system installation and with standard manufacturing practices. Additionally, the engineer investigates in-service equipment failures to determine root cause and develop repairs to return parts to service. This requires close communication with the engineering and sales teams to evaluate new project feasibility.
