AV Field Engineer Roles and Responsibilities The AV Field Engineer is responsible for engineering, supporting, and commissioning all types of Audio-Visual projects. This role requires working effectively and professionally with clients, field technicians, service technicians, programmers, general contractors, and other trades. You will collaborate closely with the Sales and Project Management teams to review bids, project scopes, and client requirements to properly design and engineer AV systems. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with internal departments such as Accounting and Management, as well as preparing required project documentation such as submittals, as-builts, and close-out packages.
