Job Type Internship Description Details : Paid Internship 40 hours per week Interns typically start employment mid-May and complete their internship in July/August Summary of the Position: The Engineering Intern reports to the Manufacturing Engineers and is responsible to follow written and/or verbal instruction issued by the his/her direct report. Roles and Responsibilities: • Improve Productivity in different Production Processes. • Workload balance in workstations • Assist with other scrap reduction and quality improvement projects as needed. • Learn the process of validating and how to document an existing process • Learn how to conduct time studies • Learn and apply Lean Manufacturing Techniques • Learn to apply SPC (Statistical Process Control) • Participate in production and brainstorming sessions • Review specifications of new equipment, learning how they work • Learn mechanical functions of existing plant machinery • Assist in procuring...
