Job Description: Longwood University invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Project Manager / Architect / Engineer I (R0038) in Capital Design and Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering all aspects of a construction project from conception until final completion. This includes the selection of a design firm and overseeing the design process to ensure the project design meets the end user's and other University department requirements, budget and schedule constraints, and code requirements; coordinating the project design and construction with multiple Commonwealth agencies and local utility providers; assisting the Materiel Management department with solicitation of construction bids; overseeing the construction process to ensure construction meets the requirements of construction documents and projects are completed on schedule.
