Description POSITION SUMMARY: Mechanical Engineers are responsible for using engineering principles to design and implement cost-effective, reliable parts, and systems to improve customer operational results. They also oversee projects from conceptual design to implementation. KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: Formulates design criteria, develops conceptual designs, performs detailed designs, and develops materials & manufacturing specifications using research, analytical skills, conceptual & planning skills, and computer-aided design. Prepares design/manufacturing cost estimates for use in sales quotations. Assists drafters in developing the structural design of products using drafting tools or CAD equipment and software, and reviews & approves final drawings/prints.
