Nature of the Work & Responsibilities NATURE OF THE WORK: The primary and usual role of the person in this class of employment is to assist teaching staff in the preparation, presentation, supervision, and evaluation of laboratory or workshop work, and to perform, as needed, demonstration, monitoring, and tutoring functions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Equipment maintenance and asset management Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory and shop equipment. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain service records. Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment. Manage inventories of spare parts, tooling, and consumables.
