NOTICE OF VACANCY - 08/21/2026 POSITION: TOWN ENGINEER DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS SALARY: $96,120 - $132,395; Full-time (40h/week); Salary/exempt; non-union The total compensation package choices include 90-95% Town paid health insurance & NHRS SUMMARY: The Town Engineer is responsible for assisting the Department Director and Environmental Coordinator in the technical aspects of the Public Works Department, consisting of highways, landfill and transfer station, sanitary sewer, and providing for the general maintenance of all municipal roads, streets, drainage and sewer systems, and solid waste facilities. TYPICAL DUTIES: Assist the Director in developing and administering the Public Works Capital Improvement Plan and other plans involving infrastructure.
