Job Type Full-time Description POSITION SUMMARY: Design a wheelchair accessible vehicle from initial concept, design, prototype builds, testing, validation, through to final manufacturing in-house production line. Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues as they arise on the manufacturing plant floor in a positive and timely manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Ability to design new products/vehicles and make improvements to existing products using computer aided design (CAD) under the guidance of Directors and Managers. • Ability to transform initial rough product ideas/designs into working engineering CAD models and drawings. • Be able to conduct reviews of designs with production, dealers, and suppliers to gain final approval. • Drive continual improvements in cost, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction through planning and designing methods to improve production processes. • Be able to analyze data, review drawings, create plans to ensure quality and...
