ALLEN PARK , Michigan Contract: VMS Position Description: The Fit to Nominal Engineer (FtN) will be responsible for validating the Fit and Finish deck that comes from (VAST), identify part to part coordination issues and quality issues (exterior/interior) within product design by measuring the margin and flushness and using the perceived quality audits to confirm part to part compliance by assisting to each launch event (DCV, TT, PP, MP1, MP2). The Fit to Nominal engineer will generate the issue list and setup the binning sessions with the thresholders to ensure a proper and timely manner issue resolution. Also, the Fit to Nominal Engineer has the responsibility of pre-graning and AAR approvals using part dimensional data and launch build data.
