The Manufacturing Engineer will provide support to the operation of the manufacturing plant in areas of facility systems, maintenance, production, quality and new product development and launch. Primary Responsibilities Develop concepts, detailed CAD models in Solidworks, engineering drawings and documentation Select appropriate materials, fabrication methods and off-the-shelf components Troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis and iterate designs to resolve issues Communicate changes/improvements made to equipment Works hands-on to build prototypes, test rigs and experimental set-ups Collaborates with the production and maintenance teams to provide day-to-day expertise / technical support with a focus on safety, reliability and cost reduction Troubleshoot problems that arise in production related to production, support and facility equipment Develop, lead and support capital improvement projects including new equipment purchases, equipment upgrades, and...
