Manufacturing Interface (SolidWorks & GD&T) Our client is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to design mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks and deliver fully manufacturable drawing packages to production. This role sits at the intersection of design and manufacturing and requires strong GD&T, attention to detail, and the ability to execute quickly with minimal supervision. This is a design-heavy role, focused on turning SolidWorks models into precise drawings that manufacturing can build correctly the first time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Job Function The role focuses on electrical harness engineering - specifically 3D and 2D harness design, routing, and integration using tools like Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault. It also involves coordination with other engineering teams (like mechanical, structures, and payload integration).
