Structural Engineer The S/L/A/M Collaborative has an opening in our Glastonbury, CT office for a Structural Engineer with 5-10+ years of experience. In this role you will work directly with project teams to aid in managing the structural design process from project inception through construction. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to : Assist with design and structural analysis of medium to large size projects utilizing software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer, RAM Structural System, TEDDS and Enercalc Coordinate with the client, Architects, municipal agencies, and other design team members and consultants Computer modeling of building foundation and superstructure systems Preparation of plans and specifications, structural drawings, and construction administration tasks Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs Application of standard engineering design principles and sound engineering judgment to accomplish work...
