JOB PURPOSE: Serve as a lead engineer, ensuring that new products are created and existing products are modified, such that they integrate with the fully automated ERP/MES and CAD/CAM systems. Ensure smooth mechanical design/engineering, bill of materials creation, and routings of casework and office furniture products with a strong emphasis on the overall system and user-friendly experience within the engineering team and throughout the manufacturing process. JOB PURPOSE: The Engineering Supervisor provides first-line technical and supervisory support for the Product Engineering team comprised of Product Design Engineers, Product Engineering Technicians, Product Design Engineering Architects, and R&D Technician. This role bridges hands-on product technical work with team supervision. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise engineering activities related to Product Drawings, Bills of Materials, CNC Programs, and Routings. Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring engineering deliverables, documentation, and change controls are completed on time.
