ABOUT THE ROLE Amsted Automotive, Powder Metal Division, is looking for Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible to evaluate alternatives leading to the development, improvement, and implementation of manufacturing processes on new and existing products to achieve an optimum relationship between cost and quality. This position will work with other Engineers to support process engineering, industrial engineering, production standard costs, automation/tooling/equipment procurement, improving operating performance, identifying, and reducing waste, and troubleshooting in assigned areas of responsibility. Additionally, the successful candidate would be involved deeply with process & tooling design, and manufacturing process improvements in our Piston Pin facilities (with a primary focus on Cold Forming).
