Job Summary: The Controls Engineer is responsible for development, testing and implementation of all programming and electrical controls. This includes, but is not limited to all programmable controller platforms, graphical user interface platforms, gateways, AC/DC electrical schematic development and debugging as well as to train the Maintenance department on these systems as needed. This person will develop equipment control upgrades/strategies, troubleshooting and installation through full implantation. Additionally, this person will partner with Maintenance Technicians regarding Controls issues and assigned projects. Job Summary: The Controls Engineer is an Engineering Services support position, responsible for the continuous improvement and support of new and existing technical solutions. The role works directly with Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and Operations to ensure technical solutions continue to evolve with the business and manufacturing process. Constant focus on maximizing equipment intelligence, safety and efficiency while looking for ways to minimize repetitive human interactions. Resource that will work with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, IT, and OEMs' to ensure networking standards and requirements are followed.
