We are seeking a Lead P&C Design Engineer who will lead teams performing design of high voltage electrical substation projects for electric utility companies. Experience producing design documents for the physical and/or electrical aspects of substation projects including high voltage physical arrangement, microprocessor-based protection and controls systems, AC and DC station, calculations, service systems and grounding. Must have strong leadership capabilities including the ability to lead the design of a substation project. RESPONSIBILITIES Be responsible for the design and quality control of system protection and control projects for utility substations. RELAY SETTING RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and manage relay setting development for SEL, GE, ABB, and other relay manufacturers. Develop short circuit analysis and coordination studies with CAPE and ASPEN. Perform relay mis-operation analysis with Wavewin and SEL SynchroWave. Perform arc flash analysis with ETAP. Develop and review NERC compliance verification reports for all PRC NERC standards.
