Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manages the drawing process with the assistance of a drafting team from approval through as-built. Prepares original layout of building interiors and exteriors based on customer requirements and specifications, including generator set, switchgear motor controls, power control equipment, routing of conduit and electrical wiring and structural configuration of building. Configures electrical systems and wiring, alarm systems and wiring and environmental control systems. Designs mechanical and structural systems for assigned projects. Specifies components and purchased parts. Prepares AutoCAD drawings as necessary. Enters and maintains current project information in Engineering Database.
