Key Responsibilities As a Controls Engineer, you will support controls and automation projects across a variety of industries. Programming of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems for continuous, discrete and batch processes. Industrial network specification and design (Ethernet, Modbus, IO-Link, etc.). Collaboration with other disciplines (Process Design, Electrical Design) to identify control system specifications. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and other process design documentation to assist in control system specifications. Generate and maintain necessary documentation, including I/O Lists, Process Narratives, Functional Design Specifications, Commissioning Forms, etc., dependent upon customer requirements.
