Job Duties: The responsibilities of the Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, and Controls Engineering team will include: Designing machine controls Troubleshooting manufacturing machinery Improving machine productivity by reducing cycle times Analyzing machine faults and implementing counters Enhancing machine safety with redundant sensors The Controls Technician will work with various technologies, including PLCs, vision systems, drives, cobots, and robots. Their activities will be supervised by an experienced Controls Engineer, and they will be assigned to projects to build machine controls. The Senior Dimensional Management Engineer, in the Plastics Product Development group, is responsible for providing technical engineering and dimensional management input and direction to both internal ConMet engineering teams as well as customer engineering teams to ensure robust and manufacturable solutions for ConMet and Customer product designs. This role is responsible for reviewing customer and internal dimensional and Fit & Finish requirements, completing tolerance stack analysis, as well as providing feedback and recommendations on datum schemes, assembly locating strategies, and overall GD&T and dimensioning and tolerancing strategy to achieve the target requirements.
