Job Type Full-time Description Purpose of the Position: The Outside-Plant Engineer's (OSP) primary responsibility revolves around the construction and maintenance of plant infrastructure, design, and engineering as well as providing a route analysis of underground & aerial fiber optic installations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists day-to-day operations and methods of the Field Coordinators and Design Technicians for project related activities. Work with Design Manager to develop budget and scope for projects. Independently create site designs and drawings from field investigations, original drawings, satellite images or other internet software. Proficient knowledge of industry related site design and industry standards. Knowledge of AutoCAD standards, details, and templates.
