Laars Heating Systems based in Rochester, NH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for evaluating requirements, making recommendations, and managing projects related to Lean Initiatives, Safety, Quality, and Productivity improvement projects, scrap reduction projects, and new equipment procurement. Responsibilities : Development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to support strategic objectives. Manage updates and modifications to existing manufacturing processes to support new product launch, including review of new part prints and review of design for manufacturability. Create cost comparisons and return on investment calculations to assist in supplier selection. Act as subject matter expert for interdepartmental projects and initiatives.
