Job Summary: The Fall Manufacturing Engineer Co-op will assist the Manufacturing Engineering Department with production activities. Primary work involves using SolidWorks CAD software to design tools and fixtures for manufacturing. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Student enrolled in a four-year degree program, majoring in Engineering who has completed their freshman year of college. Experience: Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software. Must be willing to work 3 or more rotating semesters. Other functions include: Tooling and production method development Material storage analysis and improvement Collection and analysis of labor / machinery productivity and efficiency data Machine tool set up reduction Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques. Job Summary: The Project Design Engineer I will work closely with the Chief Engineer and Project Management Engineer as well as collaborate with the other Project Design Engineers in the engineering team to execute mobile projects. This position is an entry-level Project Design Engineer role and requires familiarization with electrical design, machine design, thermal dynamics, and structural analysis. This role will work closely with the Chief Engineer, the Project Management Engineer, and the team of more experienced Project Design Engineers in the group.
