POSITION SUMMARY This position is key in driving manufacturing process improvements with the goal of optimizing safety, quality, and efficiency. This includes teaming with supervisors and operators to implement improvements establishing equipment design criteria based on engineering and manufacturing analysis in a capital equipment intensive environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES . Team with manufacturing supervisors and operators to address problems and identify opportunities for process improvement. Troubleshoot problems with existing production equipment on the factory floor implementing designs. Engineer, design, install, and commission new production equipment and train operators.
