MECHANICAL ENGINEER JOB SUMMARY Experienced engineer responsible for design and development of elevator components driven by customer and safety code related requirements. This position exercises discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products. Conducts product testing and creates models and prototypes as required. Creates and/or modifies 3D models, design drawings and bills of material for manufacturing and field installation.
