Description General Position Summary Performs a variety of system design work for medical devices primarily at the drafting and design stages in conjunction with the engineers. Essential Job Functions Engineering Activities Design / draft / detailing product subsystems independently or with inputs from Engineers. Process Engineering Change Orders and prepares supporting documentation for official release. Works in a cross-functional team comprised of mechanical, electrical and software engineers. Essential Job Functions Engineering Activities Designs small and simple product subsystem independently or other larger and complex product subsystem with senior engineers. Controls Engineering Changes and prepares required documentation for Agile release. Works in cross-functional team focused on mechanical, electrical and software design. Develops proof-of-principle hardware to verify concepts prior to prototyping. Assists in preparing project timeline and task lists and hardware costing for assigned projects.
