POSITION SUMMARY This design engineering position will be primarily responsible for the design process for the RT and Datacenter product lines. The primary focus will be utilizing 3D CAD systems to generate solid models, 3D assemblies, and 2D drawings to meet customer, vendor, and in-house specifications. Additionally, team members will be asked to assist other departments on an as needed basis. Summary: Design and detailing of air cooled heat exchangers involving mechanical design and fabrication details by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Check drawings of other Detail Drafters. Train Detail Drafters regarding API 661, OSHA, Quality Work Instructions, detail software, detail processes and templates, and Kelvion manufacturing standards. Provide on-going on-the-job training to facilitate continuous performance improvement. Monitor and facilitate Detail Drafter performance to maximize productivity, efficiency, and issue detail drawings on time. Ensure detail schedule completion dates are met. Implement process improvements to improve detail efficiency, quality, and lower product cost.
