Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Support development, production, and delivery of aerostructure components & assemblies.
  • Create/maintain engineering masters & work orders in ERP (SAP).
  • Interface with internal & external design engineering.
  • Provide shop-floor support (drawing interpretation, technical issues).
  • Develop inspection checklists, FAI, planning docs, supplier bid packages, cost estimates.
  • Drive process improvements & lean initiatives to prevent bottlenecks.

Qualifications
  • Education: BS in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace / Electrical Engineering (or related).
  • Experience: 2+ years in aircraft manufacturing, assembly, or integration.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP (SAP), CAD tools (SolidWorks/CATIA V5), and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of fabrication (aluminum structures, avionics harnessing, airframe mods).
  • Understanding of production cost/schedule metrics.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in fabrication of metals (esp. aluminum).
  • Familiarity with avionics harnessing & aircraft modifications.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (lifting up to 35 lbs, PPE, crouching/climbing).
