Key Responsibilities - Support development, production, and delivery of aerostructure components & assemblies.
- Create/maintain engineering masters & work orders in ERP (SAP).
- Interface with internal & external design engineering.
- Provide shop-floor support (drawing interpretation, technical issues).
- Develop inspection checklists, FAI, planning docs, supplier bid packages, cost estimates.
- Drive process improvements & lean initiatives to prevent bottlenecks.
Qualifications - Education: BS in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace / Electrical Engineering (or related).
- Experience: 2+ years in aircraft manufacturing, assembly, or integration.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP (SAP), CAD tools (SolidWorks/CATIA V5), and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of fabrication (aluminum structures, avionics harnessing, airframe mods).
- Understanding of production cost/schedule metrics.
Preferred Skills - Experience in fabrication of metals (esp. aluminum).
- Familiarity with avionics harnessing & aircraft modifications.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (lifting up to 35 lbs, PPE, crouching/climbing).
