SummarySupports the review and improvement of the Product Data Management (PDM) system by identifying and correcting incomplete, inaccurate, or misplaced data. Ensures data integrity, formatting accuracy, and compliance with ITAR and internal security standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Review PDM system data for errors, inconsistencies, and improperly stored information.
- Extract data from PDM for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Analyze data to identify missing, inaccurate, or misplaced files.
- Perform data corrections and updates directly within the PDM system.
- Audit ITAR and Sales Drawing folders to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Determine which information is accessible to PDM users and confirm appropriate data protections are in place.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data in accordance with ITAR and company policies.
- Document findings, corrections, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Quality teams to address data discrepancies.
- Uphold Positronic's standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
- Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
- Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.
- Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
RequirementsEducation and Experience- Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Physical- Regular walking, standing, sitting, climbing, bending, and crouching.
- May lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Use of hand tools, technical equipment, and standard office technology.
Internship TimeThis internship will take place in 2026 from May 18th to August 7th.
Working ConditionsWork is performed primarily in a production and office environment with exposure to machinery, moderate noise, and standard shop materials.
