Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects from concept to production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, efficiency, and product quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D to ensure manufacturability and resolve technical issues.
- Manage departmental budget, resources, and capital expenditure for new equipment and technologies.
- Develop and implement long-term engineering strategies aligned with production goals and company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices in all engineering activities.
Recommended Qualifications- Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial) with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders.
Bonus Qualifications- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies such as robotics, automation, or additive manufacturing
