Job Description

Honda Racing Corporation USA, a leader in motorsports racing, is seeking several highly organized and detailed oriented Engineers, Technicians and CNC programmer/machinist to joins its racing program in Santa Clarita, CA:

Chassis Development Engineer:

Test, modify, and evolve hardware systems on race cars and track-focused road cars.

Validate durability and performance against technical targets.

Report lessons learned and document failures; manage problem resolution.

Analyze logged data to identify root causes and devise countermeasures.

Collaborate with designers and manage 3rd parties for design changes.

Execute testing of countermeasure parts and new vehicle hardware updates.

Specify instrumentation, perform data analysis, and write development reports.

Innovate new testing tools and methods for track and rig tests.

Development Engineer:

Create development plans for concepts and components.

Oversee full product life cycle from concept to production.

Execute required tests and validations to meet project goals.

Quality Engineer:

Quality Control: Develop inspection protocols, validate measurement equipment.

New Product Introduction & Corrective Actions: Lead cross-functional troubleshooting.

Non-Conformance Management: Review issues, manage tooling calibration.

Advanced Product Quality Planning: Conduct first article inspections, process validation.

Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Generate reports, plan Six Sigma activities.

Engine Dyno Technician:

Set up/install/remove engines in test cells, configure instrumentation.

Execute dyno tests, maintain equipment, review data, and report issues.

Automotive Mechanics/Technicians:

Build/rebuild racing chassis and hybrid systems.

Perform quality checks, assembly, teardown, and inspection.

Train new associates and support race car performance objectives.

CNC Programmer/Machinist:

Program CNC machines using MasterCam for high-performance engine components.

Design fixtures/tooling and manage CNC setup and operation.
