Responsibilities:- Assist on a wide range of structural engineering analysis and design projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
- Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions, and plan projects accordingly
- Develop drawings and perform structural modeling tasks
- Serve as a project manager on smaller projects
- Perform Construction Phase tasks including shop drawing review, answering contractor questions, and performing construction phase site visits (including preparation of site visit reports)
Qualifications:- 3+ years of Structural design. Experience should include new buildings, renovations, and additions
- Experience with the design of structural repairs is a plus
- Experience in AutoCAD and/or REVIT
RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
- Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
- Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
