Job Type: Full-Time +, Non-Exempt
Pay: Competitive, Hourly
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:- Computer Aided Drafting
- Guided design of power distribution systems including: service entrance switchboards, engine generators, Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems, monitoring and controls systems, lighting and lighting control systems, fire alarm and security systems
- Utilize basic engineering principles and practical design solutions
- Attend job meetings & coordinate activities as required
- Complete and submit weekly paperwork (timesheets, expense reports, etc.)
- Short Circuit and protective device coordination studies using SKM power tools and ETAP.
- Work with clients, managers, and engineers to coordinate project designs
Minimum Qualifications:- Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively
- Outstanding initiative, well-organized and strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or REVIT is an advantage
Education & Experience:- Current student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering,
or a related field
License & Certifications:- Driver's License Preferred, but not required
Travel:Little to no travel is expected for this position
Physical Requirements:The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
