Position Overview:We are looking for a passionate
Mechanical Engineer who thrives on designing, integrating, and bringing humanoid robotic components to life. Your role will involve
hands-on collaboration from the drawing board to the workshop, working closely with our manufacturing team to
design, fabricate, assemble, and test cutting-edge robotic assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and integrate mechanical components for humanoid robotics
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to produce cohesive and robust humanoid robot designs
- Participate directly in the fabrication, assembly, and testing phases of robotic systems
- Organize and maintain clear, detailed CAD models and documentation
- Perform and interpret FEA analysis for structural integrity and reliability
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience (recent graduates demonstrating exceptional knowledge, passion, and a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply)
- Proficiency in Fusion 360 or Inventor
- Experience designing gear and motor systems
- Ability to integrate electrical systems into mechanical assemblies
- Exposure to manufacturing processes including CNC machining and 3D printing
Preferred Experience(Not Required but Highly Valued):
- Hands-on experience operating and programming CNC machines
- Previous work in robotic systems
- Detailed knowledge of harmonic, planetary, and cycloidal gear systems
- Familiarity with IP ratings, shock/vibration testing, and environmental sealing
- Practical experience with design validation testing and mechanical failure analysis
Portfolio Requirement:A strong portfolio demonstrating significant contributions to previous mechanical or robotic projects is essential.
